Websites You Ought To Know (3): all-free-download.com

Today’s website you ought to know is all-free-download.com.  I don’t know about you, but I like free things. Scratch that, I LOVE free things, especially free graphics.  This site is massive database of free vector graphics, PSD templates and brushes, and more. Seriously, I get lost in here looking at all the FREE (imagine fireworks and rainbows appearing around that word) things you can download. Oh, did I mention it’s free?

You can snag all kinds of free stuff from this site. Warning: it can become addictive looking through everything.

I usually use the graphics I find here for design inspiration.  Most of the graphics are for personal and reference use only.  So check it out, and enjoy!

Websites You Ought to Know (2) – Typedia

For all those who share my love of great typography or those who are just interested in learning all there is to know about fonts, http://www.typedia.com is a great website to check out. Typedia is “a resource to classify, categorize, and connect typefaces.”

You can search for type faces by style, name, designer, and more. The site also has forums, blogs and more. It’s your one-stop shop for learning about typography.

For those who are interested in learning about the different parts that make up a font, I’m including a link to a graphic I made last year that shows just that. Enjoy!
