Websites You Ought to Know (4): Kim Komando

For those of you who know me personally, you’ve probably heard me mention the name Kim Komando to you in conversation.  When I was a little girl, if my father and I drove anywhere on a Saturday morning we would often listen to Kim Komando’s radio show (and yes, that is actually her name).  She is a self proclaimed as “America’s digital goddess,” and her radio show, which is syndicated all over the country, proves she may just be right.  She helps callers with their technology problems, lets you know what’s new in the technology world, and much more.  On her website, www.komando.com,  you can find a gold mine of material.

My favorite part of her website is her Downloads section.

Basically, any type of program (mostly free ones) that’s out there, Kim tests them to make sure they’re legit and virus free, and she lets you know which ones are worth your time.  The sites has all types of downloads available in the following categories:
